Critique of 2 Animation Films

Today we are going to watch 2 animated films and critique them.
The first is Blind Vaysha, a film by Theodore Ushev. We will also watch the animated short Piper, Alan Barillaro.

Xavier Dolan wins Grand Prix at Cannes

Young Canadian director Xavier Dolan won the Grand Prix at Cannes a few days ago for his polarizing film Juste la fin du monde (It’s Only the End of the World). The Grand Prix is considered the 2nd best award at the prestigious film festival after the Palme d’Or. In 2014, Dolan won the Jury Prize at Cannes, the 3rd top prize at the festival.
